Art Association and Gallery

About and Mission Statement

 Mission

The Klamath Art Association (KAA) has been supporting and promoting art in the Klamath Basin since 1946. Our mission is to stimulate and encourage the practice, study, and appreciation of the visual arts.

The Association provides opportunities for

  • artists to show and sell their work in our gallery and gift shop, as well as other venues
  • the public to view and purchase artwork and gifts from the gallery and gift shop
  • both aspiring and experienced artists to develop their skills through classes and groups
  • artists to connect with the public and with each other

The KAA is located at 120 Riverside Drive in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Our building is situated in historic Maple Park, part of the City Parks of Klamath Falls. We are open Thursday through Sundaybeginning on the first Sunday of each month and ending the last Sunday of each month, from noon to 4 PM, and there is no charge for admission.

The Klamath Art Association Gallery showcases a different artist every month (with the exception of November and December, which is our Members Holiday Showcase). All work is original in numerous and diverse mediums from local artists, and occasionally from artists from outside the region in a cozy intimate gallery space that is a delight for gallery goers. A few months per year are dedicated to group shows. From time to time KAA offers instructional classes that are open to the public, as are all of our events. The non-profit member supported Klamath Art Association averages 140 members.

KAA is the oldest organization of its kind in Oregon and was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1946. Our membership also participated in the community 3rd Thursday Art Walks.

The Gallery Gift Shop features a selection handmade jewelry, pottery, gift cards, and other items by local artists.
