“It’s the Little Things” Invitational Exhibit in the month of January 2023

The Klamath Art Association and Gallery is hosting an invitational exhibit for the month of January 2023 featuring works with a maximum outside measurement of 11″x14″ as well as the usual 2 piece limit. The gallery issues a call to artist’s, photographers, sculptors and crafts people to exhibit their creations that fit this criteria. There will be an opening reception on the first day of the exhibit and will run through the month of January (Jan 8 – Jan 29). Art drop off dates and times will be posted prior to the month. Countertop items are welcome, again with the same size limitations, on a first come/first serve basis and countertop space is limited. New this year: The gallery now has standing racks for hanging items!

Both members and non-members of the Klamath Art Association are invited to display their creations. All work must be for sale and participants can make money from selling their work. The commission rate is 30% for non-members and 25% for members of the Klamath Art Association. To help defray the cost of publicity, award ribbons, and refreshments, non-members are asked to pay an entry fee of $5.00 per work for artwork that is for wall display. For crafts items that are displayed on tables, there is a single flat $5.00 entry fee for non-member table space. Tabletop display space will be up to the discretion of the exhibit manager.

All work needs to be delivered in person to the Klamath Art Gallery at 120 Riverside Drive on the Thursday before the exhibit opens. All “wall” work must have wire back hangers clear across the back of the work. No hook or loop hangers. “Coloring Book” art is specifically excluded, as it is not original art. The gallery reserves the right to refuse work that does not fit the theme or does not meet the above requirements. NO exceptions.

Complete exhibitor polices are available on the Klamath Art Gallery website at: Exhibit Policies  For questions or inventory and tag forms please send your e-mail request to: klamathartassoc@aol.com. Forms will be available at the gallery. You may also phone the gallery at 541-883-1833.
